Mulroys.org was started in 2008 by Courtnee J. Mulroy. She realized in her family research journey that there was no solid site to help her find the answers she wanted. The Mulroy name was rarely found on genealogy sites. The results on the Internet as vast as it is were few and far between. Courtnee wanted a site that all the Mulroy's related or not, and those families that blend into the Mulroy name, could come to.

Courtnee believes with many people working together a vast website full of information can be built to help each other. Also educate others who want to learn about this amazing surname that is full of history.

Previously there was a site much like this dedicated to information on all Mulroys ran by Ian Mulroy from Ireland. He had so much information on Mulroys. Courtnee went to go back to this site when she resumed her family research and the site seemed to of disappeared. This was crushing, but also helped inspire her idea to start this website.
